Summer Associates Rate Their Experience Across Big Law

Day Pitney LLP was ranked eighth nationally for summer associate satisfaction in The American Lawyer's 2022 Summer Associate Survey.
The surveys were gathered from more than 5,400 summer associates at 75 law firms nationally. The Summer Associate Survey asks summer associates to measure their job satisfaction in nine key areas, including interest level of the work, how much of it was "real," training and guidance, interactions with partners and full-time associates, how well the firm communicated its goals, how accurately the firm portrayed itself in interviews, how it rated overall as a place to work, and inclination to accept a job if one were offered. On a 5-point scale, Day Pitney scored 4.935 overall.

Day Pitney's summer program allows summer associates to work on interesting and challenging work assignments, interact with our attorneys and staff at all levels, and to participate in shadowing and training opportunities as well as social events.
