In April 2022, Day Pitney represented a Singapore-based investment management firm in connection with the formation of an ERISA "hardwired" master-feeder fund structure focused on investing primarily in Asian healthcare companies. The Day Pitney team, consisting of Peter Bilfield, Lydia Lee and Kim Morabito, with assistance from Liza Hecht on ERISA and Justin Hannan and Megan Ferris on US tax issues, advised the client on the preparation of offering documents and the investment management agreement, including hardwiring all investments of the feeder funds into the master fund for ERISA purposes.
