On May 17, Day Pitney Litigation Partners Naju Lathia and Elizabeth Sher will be speaking at the New Jersey State Bar Association's 2023 Annual Meeting and Convention.
Sher, Day Pitney's General Counsel, is a panelist on the "Law Firm General Counsel Roundtable – The Ethics of Advertising Lawyer Awards and Other Issues Unique to Law Firm Representation," panel discussing the Committee on Attorney Advertising Opinion 48 and other issues unique to representing law firms. She will be joined by moderator James DiGiulio, Partner and General Counsel at O'Toole Scrivo, LLC, and panelists Ronald L. Israel, Partner and General Counsel at Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi, P.C.; Carol Johnston, Staff and Counsel at Advisor Committee on Professional Ethics, Committee of Attorney Advertising, Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law; and David W. Wissert of Lowenstein Sandler, LLP.
Lathia, co-chair of Day Pitney's Data Privacy, Protection and Litigation group, is a panelist on the "Making Sense of New Tech Impacting the Practice of Law," panel discussing AI, Chat GPT, Ransomware and other technologies dominating the headlines. She will be joined by moderator Dr. Robert Spangler of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and panelists Harry Halikias, Cybersecurity expert at the New York Public Library, and Jason T. Williams, Vice President of Field Engineering at Halcyon.
Day Pitney will be attending the Annual Meeting in force, with more than 15 attorneys already scheduled to participate in the State Bar's signature event.
