Day Pitney Receives 2024 Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation Award
Day Pitney LLP was recognized with the 2024 Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation Award for the firm's long-standing support of pro bono initiatives on behalf of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation. The award was presented in London on May 9 as part of the Lex Mundi Connect + Collaborate 2024 Annual Conference.
Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation Awards are presented each year to recognize Lex Mundi member law firms that demonstrate commitment to the work of the Foundation through various means, including providing critical pro bono legal services that strengthen the global social impact movement, improving the environment, lives, and communities around the world. The award was accepted by Day Pitney partners Naju R. Lathia and Benjamin E. Haglund. Haglund, who serves on the Board of Directors of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation, expressed deep gratitude saying, "We are particularly appreciative of all the Foundation has done in recent years to work with us to identify social entrepreneurs, particularly those who also align with the work of our firm's Racial Justice & Equity Task Force."
