Stephen R. Catanzaro

Stephen Catanzaro advises and represents clients in real estate and business litigation matters, as well as a broad range of other commercial disputes. His real estate litigation practice includes commercial real estate contract and lease disputes, prerogative writ matters and zoning appeals, construction litigation, easement disputes, and commercial foreclosures.

Stephen also represents companies in class action defense, private employers in employment matters, creditors in bankruptcy actions, and executives in all aspects of marriage dissolution. Stephen handles cases in both state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. He has extensive trial, mediation and arbitration experience.

Stephen is actively involved in pro bono matters. He volunteers for the Morris County Battered Women's Legal Advocacy Project, and acts as a court-appointed representative of allegedly incapacitated persons in guardianship proceedings in New Jersey. Stephen is also co-chair of Social Committee for the firm's New Jersey office.

Stephen speaks at continuing legal education events. Most recently, he helped lead a panel discussion about procedures companies should consider adopting in order to avoid liability under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Before entering private practice, Stephen served as a law clerk to the Honorable Carolyn E. Wright, Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage.
