Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that Carrie Webb Olson, a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property department, joined Mass High Tech (MHT) in honoring women of accomplishment at this year's Women to Watch breakfast on March 23. Olson, who resides in Day Pitney's Boston office, is a member of the MHT advisory committee. The breakfast event recognizes women in technology and life sciences who are "go-getters, hard working, inspirational and motivational to their peers."

Olson practices in the area of trademark law and copyright law, working with clients across the United States, as well as overseas, to provide counsel on a wide range of matters. She manages international trademark portfolios and related disputes, and represents clients asserting and defending trademark claims before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and in federal court. Olson also regularly advises clients on international domain name and Internet issues involving trademarks and copyrights.
