Day Pitney Adds Trusts and Estates Lawyer to Boston Office
Day Pitney LLP announced today that Tamara L. Busch has re-joined the firm as counsel in its Individual Clients department. Busch, who previously was an associate at Day Pitney predecessor firm Day, Berry & Howard LLP, provides strategic advice on estate planning matters. She will reside in Day Pitney's Boston office.
"Day Pitney is known for its highly sophisticated trusts and estates practice," said Gregory A. Hayes, chair of Day Pitney's Individual Clients department. "Tamara's practice, which also includes a focus on fiduciary compliance work, is a nice complement to the existing platform already in place across the department."
Busch works with clients on effective wealth transfer and efficient tax alternatives within estate planning structures. She represents fiduciaries in the settlement of estates and administration of trusts. She also works with boards and trustees of private foundations on achieving their philanthropic goals.
"After several years away from the firm, I am delighted to be returning to Day Pitney," said Busch. "Working alongside and collaborating once again with this talented group of lawyers will benefit my clients."
Busch returns to Day Pitney from Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York. Earlier in her career, she worked at Ropes & Gray LLP. Busch received a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where she was elected to Order of the Coif, and an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College.
