Day Pitney Takes Part in CT Asian Pacific Bar Association Dinner
On October 23, 2012, Day Pitney was a Jade sponsor at the the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association (CAPABA) 12th Annual Dinner, held at the Pond House Cafe in West Hartford, CT. Immediate Past-President Jaclyn Leung delivered the introductory remarks and Cecilia Stiber was installed as the Vice President of CAPABA for the 2012-2013 bar year.
The keynote speaker was An-Ping Hsieh, Vice President & General Counsel of Hubbell, Inc., and the IMPACT award recipient was Carlton Chen, former Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Colt's Manufacturing Company. William J. Casazza, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, accepted the 2012 CAPABA Diversity Award on behalf of Aetna Inc. The CAPABA Foundation Scholarship was awarded to Rochelle Cruz-Duyan, a 3L at Western New England School of Law.
Over 150 guests attended the event, including the following from Day Pitney: Asker Saeed, Jim Rotondo, Paul Williams, Dan Schwartz, Dan Fitzmaurice, Cecilia Stiber and Jaclyn Leung.
