Shawn Wooden Elected to Connecticut State Treasurer
Day Pitney LLP is proud to announce that our partner Shawn T. Wooden has been elected Connecticut state treasurer. As treasurer, Wooden will oversee $63 billion in state funds and investments, including $34 billion in state pension funds, and will sit on numerous boards including the State Bond Commission, the Connecticut Health & Educational Facilities Authority, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority and the Connecticut Green Bank. He will retire as a partner in the firm and assume his new role as state treasurer when he is sworn in on January 9, 2019.
