Day Pitney Litigation Team (“Litigation Department of the Year – Probate” Winner)
The firm’s recognition as “Litigation Department of the Year – Probate” highlights its distinguished Fiduciary and Probate Litigation practice, a team of experienced litigators and trusts and estates attorneys who handle complex trust, estate, and guardianship disputes. In coordination with Day Pitney’s nationally recognized Private Client Department, the group leverages deep technical knowledge in estate planning, administration, and taxation to deliver strategic, client-focused representation for individuals, families, fiduciaries, and institutions across the country and around the world.

Ashley Picker Dubin (“Legal Innovators & Disrupters” Winner)
The firm also celebrates Dubin, who earned recognition as a “Legal Innovators & Disrupters” winner for the third consecutive year, a distinction that reflects her leadership in technology-enabled client service and innovation in discovery and information governance.
“I’m honored to be recognized among such forward-thinking professionals,” said Dubin. “At Day Pitney, we continually seek innovative ways to align technology and legal strategy to meet our clients’ evolving needs.”
Based in Hartford, Dubin advises clients globally on information governance and discovery management, serving as an eDiscovery liaison in jurisdictions across the United States. She regularly negotiates technology-assisted review protocols, including the use of generative AI, and litigates discovery-related motions. Her work includes developing firmwide and client-specific policies under the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and Information Governance Reference Model (IGRM) to ensure compliance, efficiency, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.
Dubin has received numerous industry accolades, including recognition as a 2025 AI Visionary by Relativity (click here for Relativity methodology), inclusion on the 2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation list (click here for the Lawdragon methodology), and selection to Connecticut Super Lawyers Rising Stars for E-Discovery in 2024 (click here for Super Lawyers methodology). Dubin is an active member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, International Legal Technology Association, Sedona Conference, and Women in eDiscovery, and is a frequent speaker and writer on AI governance and eDiscovery topics. She earned her B.A. from Goucher College and J.D. from New England School of Law and is admitted to practice in Connecticut and Maryland.
