On August 22, Carl A. Merino spoke at "U.S. Tax Reform Discussion II: Inbound Real Estate Investing," a program presented by the STEP New York Chapter. Merino discussed the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on structuring options for nonresident aliens investing in US real estate. STEP is the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations. It has 20,000 members across 95 countries from a range of professions, including lawyers and accountants.
