Day Pitney’s Healthtech Investor Forum

Day Pitney LLP, together with PDB FutureCom International, hosted an invitation-only Healthtech Investor Forum for family offices and high net worth individuals interested in healthtech investing at the Boca Beach Club in Boca Raton, FL. Partner David Waizer, who leads the firm's Emerging Company and Venture Capital practice, welcomed the more than 60 attendees and provided opening remarks along with R. Scott Beach, Chair of Day Pitney's Corporate and Business Law department and head of its Family Office practice.

Starting with more than 200 companies, a committee narrowed the pool down to 10 emerging healthtech companies that appeared to be the most promising and met stringent criteria. Paul Bloom, CEO of PDB FutureCom International, introduced the qualifying companies at the program: BacterioScan; Mediseen eHealth; Medivizoe; MilagroAI; Nucleai; Nuvo; Oxitone; Sensible Medical; Sleeprate; and Surgimate. Each company gave a five-minute presentation describing their product, market and business plan. After the presentations, a networking reception was held where attendees had an opportunity to network with the CEOs and founders of the companies.
