Day Pitney is a sponsor for Best Buddies New York's Party for a Purpose event on October 20. The event is a celebration of the inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in New York, which will feature special guests, entertainment and a silent auction.

Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development and inclusive living for individuals with IDD. Being in all 50 states and in 47 countries, Best Buddies is the world's largest organization dedicated to ending social, physical and economic isolation of those with IDD. Through its work, Best Buddies has positively impacted over 950,000 people.
