On June 14, Day Pitney’s co-chair of Data Privacy, Protection and Litigation William Roberts spoke at the Connecticut Water Works Association’s workshop in a session titled, "Breach Ready: Steps Water Utilities Should Take Now to Reduce Risk and Be Prepared." The presentation addressed data privacy, cybersecurity and contracting steps utilities can take before a breach to both reduce the likelihood of a breach occurring and ensure that a utility is "bready ready" when an incident eventually happens.
