"Understanding Antisemitism," Day Pitney

On November 15, Day Pitney hosted a session on "Understanding Antisemitism," as part of its ongoing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion educational programming with more than 300 attendees firm wide. Day Pitney's Managing Partner Greg Hayes shared opening remarks, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Tara Pollard kicked the program off, and former Anti-Defamation League Directors Marji Lipshez-Shapiro and Steve Ginsburg facilitated the discussion by providing the history of antisemitism and current challenges faced by the Jewish community.

The heart of the program included accounts from our colleagues who openly shared personal stories, experiences with antisemitism, and how to support our Jewish colleagues and friends. This engaging, educational and emotional session highlighted ways in which our firm community has been impacted and how we can do more to stand up to hate in light of increasing incidents in the United States and around the world.
