On July 15, Day Pitney Partner Margaret Meehan presented at the Tax Conferences in July: Introduction to Trusts and Estates, hosted by the NYU School of Professional Studies. The conference, held in New York City July 15-17, provided an understanding of a variety of tax issues related to trusts and estates, including the fundamentals of the estate tax, gift tax and generation-skipping transfer tax, and also provided transfer tax and income tax planning strategies and considerations for high-net worth individuals and families.
