"Updates in Probate Law" and "Capacity Issues and Burden Shifting," 12th Annual Probate Law Conference, Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA)

Day Pitney partners Hether Cahill and Tiffany Bentley will speak at 12th Annual Probate Law Conference hosted by the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA). Cahill, co-chair of the firm's Fiduciary and Probate Litigation group, will open the morning with two presentations of "Updates in Probate Law." Bentley will participate in a panel discussion, "Capacity Issues and Burden Shifting." The conference is being held on Friday, November 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center.

The conference will begin with breakfast and networking, followed by a full day of programming featuring six tracks and 21 engaging probate topics. Additional topics will address practical and timely matters, such as navigating late and limited proceedings, drafting testamentary trusts, MassHealth updates, advanced guardianship and conservatorship issues, and estate and income tax basics, offering a comprehensive exploration of the field.
