Elizabeth Barton's Connecticut Brownfields Article Published in Brownfield Renewal
Beth Barton authored an article for the April-May issue of Brownfield Renewal that discusses Connecticut's successful effort to create a new brownfields remediation and revitalization program. Beth notes that the brownfields incentive legislation, signed into law by Gov. Dan Malloy in May, is contributing to a sense of optimism over the prospects for redevelopment of environmentally challenged properties in the state. The new program, she writes, "looks to position Connecticut to attract increased economic investment in the return of the state's brownfields to productive reuse."
