Eliza Fromberg discussed the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority's proposed changes to the reporting requirement for "dark pools" -- a type of alternative trading system that does not require public display of orders -- in an October 28 Law360 article. She writes that "the rules, if approved by the SEC, will increase publicly available information about these opaque and rapidly growing private markets," which have recently come under scrutiny with their wider adoption and decreased trade size.
