Joe Scully discusses Day Pitney's approach to its summer apprenticeship program in a June 4 Connecticut Law Tribune article that looks at the status of such programs in the current economic landscape. The article, "On the Rebound?" notes that many law firms have lowered the number of summer hires in recent years, or changed the way they run their programs. Joe says that while Day Pitney has fewer apprentices than it had before the downturn, the Firm looks to hire serious candidates for future employment, and aims to get them involved in all aspects of a project.
