David Swerdloff Quoted by Hartford Courant on CT Out-of-State Penalties

David Swerdloff comments on the penalties out-of-state businesses must pay the state of Connecticut for failing to register as such, in an August 2 Hartford Courant article. He says that Day Pitney has "had some clients who have been in the state for 10 years or five years and they've been paying taxes, but they didn't know you had to pay an annual fee," noting that some people are unaware of the need to register when they begin business in the state. "Sometimes their accountants haven't told them."
