Bridgeport Mayor Vows to 'Fight Like Heck' After Losing Primary Election

Stan Twardy was quoted in an article, “Bridgeport Mayor Vows to ‘Fight Like Heck’ After Losing Primary Election,” in The New York Times. Twardy, who was the top federal prosecutor in Connecticut for six years before leaving in 1991, discussed how he was surprised that Joseph Ganim, who was removed from office in 2003 and served seven years in prison on felony corruption charges, received sufficient support to be in the primary election.
