Craig Gianetti Elected Chair of New Jersey State Bar Association Land Use Law Section

Craig Gianetti, a partner in Day Pitney's Real Estate & Land Use group, has been elected to serve as Chair of the Land Use Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA). He has been a long-standing Board member of the section and previously served as Secretary and last year served as Vice-Chair. The Land Use Law Section serves as the statewide leader concerning issues involving or related to the field of land use law, including reviewing developments in land use law and attempting to reduce or eliminate costs and delays associated with the land use approval process.

When asked to comment about this achievement Craig Gianetti stated, "I am truly honored to serve as the next Chair of the Land Use Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. The past chairs of the Land Use Section have been real leaders in the land use and real estate development community in New Jersey, including a former chair and Day Pitney alum, Glenn Geiger. The current health and social issues of today will have an impact on land use and development in New Jersey, and I look forward to working with the rest of the Board of Directors of the Land Use Section in the upcoming year."
