Day Pitney Trusts and Estates Partner Rebecca Iannantuoni was featured in Yale Cancer Center’s Centerpoint Magazine article, “Medical-Legal Partnerships Bring Comfort, Relieve Stress.”

Iannantuoni, legal supervisor at the Palliative Care Medical-Legal Partnership at the Solomon Center for Health and Law Policy at Yale Law school, commented on a sensitive situation where a dying mother needed to set up care for her young son stating, “I was able to talk to the social workers in both hospitals, the brother and the mom’s doctor at Smilow and pretty quickly worked out a standby guardian.”  The mother passed away with the peace of knowing her son was with her family.
