Day Pitney was featured in the Law360 Pulse article titled, "Day Pitney Honored For Volunteer Work by Nonprofit Org," regarding being named a Volunteer of the Year Award by Pro Bono Partnership, a nonprofit providing free business and transactional legal services to other nonprofits.
Over the last year, 35 Day Pitney attorneys have worked on 35 matters and for 32 nonprofits in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York – the three states in which Pro Bono Partnership operates.
"We are proud of our longstanding relationship with Pro Bono Partnership and our pro bono work with many impactful Connecticut organizations," said Theresa Kelly, chair of Day Pitney's Pro Bono Committee.
Namita Shah, a Day Pitney partner and executive board member, added, "We believe pro bono work is not only vital to the growth and development of our attorneys, but also strengthens our relationships with the communities we live and work in."
"Day Pitney has been at the table as a founder, as a supporter, and as a partner of this pro bono program from the very start. It has been incredibly supportive.
