Gary S. Betensky Reelected as Chair of the Palm Beach County Environmental Control Hearing Board
Florida Partner Gary S. Betensky has been reelected to serve as chair of the Palm Beach County Environmental Control Hearing Board for a third year. He is in his second three-year term with the board. Betensky has been serving as a board member since his appointment in 2020 by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners.
The board conducts public hearings to adjudicate environmental and day care ordinance violations issued by the Palm Beach County Department of Health. The board may impose civil penalties or other affirmative relief for such violations.
