Boca Raton Attorneys Jay Mussman and Brian Thompson Commended for Pro Bono Work

On March 13, Day Pitney Boca Raton-based attorneys Jay D. Mussman and Brian E. Thompson received special commendations from the 15th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee, The Florida Supreme Court and the Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association for their pro bono work in 2023. They were recognized at the Legal Aid Society's Pro Bono Awards Pinning Ceremony at the Palm Beach County Court House in West Palm Beach presided by Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz.

Mussman, a certified public accountant and attorney, assists wealthy private clients with transactional matters in the areas of domestic and international trust and estate planning, probate, real property and taxation. Mussman was also recognized in 2019 and 2020 for his pro bono contributions. Thompson assists private clients and high net worth individuals on estate and gift tax planning, probate, estate and trust administration, asset transfer matters and special needs planning. Thompson was previously recognized in 2020.
