Ruiz is representing Big Cypress Distillery in its application for a second location in Miami-Dade County, including seeking a parking reduction based on available transportation alternatives such as future Bus Rapid Transit Station located at 136 Street and US1. He stated in the letter of intent, "After a long and intentional search, the property was carefully selected due to the neighboring industrial and commercial uses that are well-supported and frequented by those living in the surrounding residential neighborhoods."
