Day Pitney Named a Finalist in the MDFAWL's Law Firm Champion of Women Award
Day Pitney is proud to have been named a Finalist in the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers' Law Firm Champion of Women Award in the law firms with 50+ attorneys category. The honor was celebrated at the MDFAWL's Installation and Awards Dinner on May 15.
The awards are a recognition of a law firm with at least one office in Miami-Dade County that has championed the advancement of women in the legal profession. The MDFAWL Board of Directors considers actions taken by the nominated firms' Miami-Dade County office(s) in the following areas: hiring and retaining women; implementing general employment practices and procedures that increase or enhance the representation of women in leadership positions in the legal profession; promoting women to equity partnership and positions in firm leadership; and implementing firm policies that are intended to retain and promote women.
Miami Corporate Associate Rosana Belen Fernandez is the co-chair of MDFAWL's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. The event was attended by Fernandez, Mark Romance, Matt Robinson II and Sandra Ferrera.
