Day Pitney LLP announced that it has achieved Mansfield Certification from Diversity Lab for 2023-2024, marking the seventh consecutive year of certification for the firm. Day Pitney has participated in the Mansfield process since its inception in 2017.
Mansfield is a year-long structured certification process designed to ensure all qualified talent at participating law firms has a fair and equal opportunity to be considered for advancement into leadership roles. The focus is on "opening the door wider" and ensuring that opportunities for advancement are transparent and inclusive for everyone.
"We remain dedicated to fostering a workplace where everyone feels empowered, supported, and heard. By adhering to the Mansfield Rule process, we continue to make meaningful progress each year toward cultivating a truly inclusive and equitable environment for all," said Theresa Kelly, Partner in Charge of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Day Pitney.
To achieve Mansfield Certification, Day Pitney utilizes a data-driven approach—designed by talent experts, data scientists, and lawyers at Diversity Lab—to help increase diversity in firm leadership, attorney recruitment, and advancement to partnership.
