Day Pitney Welcomes Attorney Heather Feingold to Growing Energy Team

Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that Heather L. Feingold has joined the firm as Counsel in the Energy practice group, operating out of the Washington, D.C. office. With more than 20 years of experience in energy regulation and transactional matters, Feingold has advised institutional investors, lenders, and energy companies on compliance and complex deals. Her addition underscores Day Pitney's commitment to strengthening its Energy practice, following the recent arrival of Partner Mark Williams in the same office.

"Heather brings a distinguished track record of advising clients on intricate regulatory and transactional matters, enhancing the breadth and capability of our Energy practice," said Joe Fagan, Energy Partner and Washington, D.C. Office Managing Partner. "Her insights and strategic approach will be instrumental as our clients navigate the challenges and opportunities of the ever-evolving energy sector."

Feingold's practice at Day Pitney will focus on energy regulatory matters, including transactional and compliance activities before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). She will also manage advisory matters on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, power sale authorizations, reporting requirements, and transaction planning.

Before joining the firm, Feingold held counsel and of counsel positions at three leading international law firms. She also served as associate counsel for an energy trade association in Washington, D.C., where she guided clients through acquisitions of independent power interests and advised investors and lenders in gas utility and pipeline transactions.

Feingold is an active member of the Energy Bar Association (EBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). She has been recognized by Chambers Global (click here for Chambers Global methodology) and named to the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll (click here for Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll methodology).
