Day Pitney's Tasha Dickinson Named to Florida Trend's Legal Elite NOTABLE Women Leaders in Law List

Day Pitney Trusts and Estates Partner Tasha K. Dickinson has been named to Florida Trend's Legal Elite NOTABLE Women Leaders in Law list for 2024, marking her second consecutive appearance on this roster. Recognized as a trusted advisor across many aspects of the legal industry, Dickinson continues to make a significant impact through her leadership, mentorship, and dedication to excellence in the field of trusts and estates law.

Dickinson was one of a select group of women attorneys from law firms across Florida. To qualify for the list, nominees must be in good standing with the Florida Bar, be based in Florida, be a practicing attorney with at least 15 years' experience, and have made a significant impact in the field of law. To be recognized, attorneys must mentor or act as a role model for others and show leadership in professional organizations and civic/community service initiatives. As the senior partner in the West Palm Beach office, Dickinson oversees the office, including managing hiring decisions, mentorship programs, and other administrative responsibilities. She sits on the firm's Executive Board, leads the firm's trusts and estates practice in South Florida, and manages her own robust trusts and estates practice. Dickinson is a Director with the C. Kenneth Baxter and Laura Baxter Foundation and an advisor to the Baxter Scholars Program through her work with the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches. She is a member of the Allocations Committee for the Town of Palm Beach United Way.

In her law practice, Dickinson, a Florida Bar Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates lawyer, exclusively represents individuals and families in sophisticated estate planning and estate/trust administration. She has been an American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) Fellow since 2015. Dickinson is active with ACTEC through various committees, including Estate and Gift Tax, Business Succession, Family Law Task Force, and the Fiduciary Administration Task Force. She has held several positions with the Florida Bar, including ACTEC liaison, Executive Committee member, co-chair of the Probate Rules Committee, and chair of the Wills, Trusts and Estates Certification Committee. Dickinson is an adjunct professor at University of North Carolina School of Law. She earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina and her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Dickinson is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and North Carolina.
