Overview
Johanna Lerner assists clients in complex commercial litigation matters, as well as criminal proceedings and investigations.
As an Assistant District Attorney in the Public Integrity Bureau of the Bronx District Attorney's Office, Johanna investigated and prosecuted cases involving law enforcement and public officials, such as public corruption cases and police-involved shootings. She also litigated misdemeanor and felony crimes. Johanna has extensive experience handling such matters from inception through trial or other disposition. She gained valuable experience evaluating allegations using investigative tools, such as search warrants, subpoenas, and witness interviews.
Johanna was a law clerk for the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, where she researched and drafted opinions and motions in both civil and criminal cases.
