Day Pitney Honored in Chambers USA 2025 With Expanded Recognition
Following a year of sustained growth and strong performance, Day Pitney LLP has earned national and regional acclaim in the 2025 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business*. The firm's presence in the rankings expanded significantly, with 40 Day Pitney attorneys and 17 practices recognized—up from 34 attorneys and 15 practices in the 2024—underscoring Day Pitney's deep bench of talent and its continued growth in advising on complex, high-stakes matters.
This year, the firm earned 14 "Band 1" rankings across practices and individuals. The firm's top-ranked practices include Insurance, General Commercial Litigation, and Real Estate in Connecticut; Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation in New Jersey; and General Commercial Litigation in Florida, which also earned the designation of "Highly Regarded".
Day Pitney also achieved several key advancements in its practice rankings. Marking significant milestones, Private Equity: Fund Formation (USA – Nationwide) and Insurance (Massachusetts) were ranked for the first time, while Labor & Employment (Connecticut) advanced to "Band 2." These recognitions follow the firm's inaugural ranking earlier this year in the Energy: Oil & Gas (Regulatory & Litigation) – Global Guide.
Twelve attorneys earned promotions in their individual rankings, and nine Day Pitney attorneys received first-time recognition. An additional 15 attorneys and four practices were identified by the publication as having significant potential for future rankings, further signaling Day Pitney's upward trajectory.
