On October 1, 2013, Day Pitney was the leadership sponsor of the Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF) 40th Anniversary and Annual Awards Dinner held in Southington, Connecticut. The awardees for the evening were CLEW (Connecticut Labor and Employment Women, the Women's Campaign School at Yale University, Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services, the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women.

Day Pitney attorneys Tiana Gianopulos, Richard Wasserman, Beth Barton, Harold Blinderman, Ailla Wasstrom-Welz (also a CWEALF board member), Director of Human Resources Stacy Walsh and Director of Diversity Asker Saeed attended the event and were joined with various guests and clients of the firm.
