On October 16, 2013, Day Pitney was the gold sponsor of the National Diversity Council's Inaugural Greater Boston Women in Leadership Symposium held in Boston, Massachusetts. Carrie Webb Olson, chair of the firm's Trademark Copyright and Advertising practice group, was a featured panelist and discussed the topic of "Winning at Office Politics." Director of Diversity Asker Saeed served as co-chair of the event. In addition to Ms. Olson and Mr. Saeed, Day Pitney attorneys Jeff Clopeck, Erika Cagney, and Leiha Macauley attended the event and were joined by various guests and clients of the firm.
