On June 27, Day Pitney LLP and the Association of Corporate Counsel, Northeast Chapter – Women's Initiative co-hosted a second program, "Talking, Walking, Running – A Call to Action for Women in the Legal Profession," held at Day Pitney's Boston office. The program was a continuation of the discussion that began in April at their last women's program on influencing the representation of women within corporate and legal organizations.

Approximately 30 attendees participated in a round table discussion, which focused on a call to action for women in law. The discussion was led by Day Pitney partners Carrie Webb Olson and Chase Rogers (former Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court); Karen Morton, Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Liberty Mutual; and Jenny Waters, Executive Director at NAWL (National Association of Women Lawyers). Topics included an examination of what is working, what can be improved, how to collaborate and what tools and resources are available to effect change. In addition, the speakers shared information about programs at their respective organizations that focus on increasing diversity.
