"Generative AI & Deep Fakes: IP Implications, Authentication, Access to Justice," Connecticut Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section

Day Pitney Attorneys Ashley Picker Dubin, Woo Sin Sean Park and Juliana Campochiaro will serve on the panel, "Generative AI & Deep Fakes: IP Implications, Authentication, Access to Justice." The CLE webinar, hosted by the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, will be held on April 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Park will delve into intellectual property considerations stemming from use of generative AI, including authorship and inventorship under the Copyright and Patent Acts, as well as what constitutes derivative works and infringement. Dubin will discuss the complex discovery and evidentiary issues presented by generative AI, including the risks associated with deep fakes, authentication of evidence, and the corresponding impact on litigants.
