Fiduciary and Probate Litigation Associate
Day Pitney is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of litigation experience to join our growing team in Florida (Boca Raton, Miami, or West Palm Beach).
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in fiduciary, trust and probate litigation including managing estate and trust administration matters in and out of the Florida court system. Experience with probate and trust administration issues; fiduciary compliance and risk management; guardianship matters and proceedings, and working with individuals and families on tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies through estate, tax, business succession, and asset protection planning is preferred.
Day Pitney's Fiduciary and Probate Litigation practice group consists of litigators and trusts and estates lawyers with extensive experience in contested trust, estate and guardianship matters.
Day Pitney's nationally recognized Private Client department, one of the largest and most sophisticated in the country, advises on all aspects of estate, gift and charitable planning, closely held businesses, administration of estates and trusts, and fiduciary litigation. Our lawyers have extensive experience serving the unique needs of individuals and their families, fiduciaries, and a broad range of tax-exempt entities. Requirements
- 2-4 years of demonstrated fiduciary, trust and probate litigation experience
- Excellent technical, professional and client service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills
- Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration
- Florida bar admission in good standing (required)
