4 Key Points in Conn. Judiciary's Proposal On Juries and Race

Chase T. Rogers was quoted in the Law360&article, "4 Key Points in Conn. Judiciary's Proposal On Juries & Race." The article discusses Connecticut Supreme Court Chief Justice Richard A. Robinson sending Connecticut lawmakers a proposed package of legislation that aims to tackle the persistent racial disparities in jury selection in the state. The proposal is based on a recent report from the Jury Selection Task Force, convened by Connecticut's judiciary to look into the issue.

Rogers, co-chair of the task force, told Law360 Pulse that the goal of the commission was to do as much as possible to "eradicate any racial discrimination" in juror selection and performance.
