William J. Roberts arrival to the firm was profiled in the Law360 Pulse article titled, "Cybersecurity Atty Joins Day Pitney As Partner in Conn." Roberts joins the firm as a partner in the Cybersecurity and Data Protection practice.

Roberts stated he is looking to focus his work further on "data breach response along with biometrics, state privacy laws, and assisting clients to further develop comprehensive data privacy programs." He sees state privacy laws "as being a really big part of the next few years at Day Pitney… working with these national clients on trying to figure out how to have one program to comply with a dozen state laws."
