Day Pitney Announces Inaugural 2L Diversity Fellowship Program

Day Pitney LLP announced today the launch of its inaugural 2L Diversity Fellowship Program. As part of the firm's commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession, the new program is intended to expand and promote the recruitment, development and retention of attorneys from historically underrepresented backgrounds. The goal of the program is to increase opportunities for talented law students who have demonstrated a commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion by providing financial support as they continue their law school studies.

"Day Pitney is committed to fostering a professional workplace where opportunities are available to all and we view our new 2L Diversity Fellowship Program as a path to investing in our future," said Thomas Goldberg, Day Pitney's Managing Partner. "Our firm understands that the foundation for our success is built upon increasing diverse representation, promoting equity and fostering an inclusive environment. We intend for this program to provide enhanced opportunities for diverse talented law students and advance our progress towards that goal."

Day Pitney's 2L Diversity Fellowship Program will provide $15,000 awards to a select number of qualified second-year law students to help cover law school expenses in addition to offering a position in the firm's 2023 Summer Associate Program.
