The Portia Project Podcast with Chief Justice Chase T. Rogers

Chief Justice Chase T. Rogers (ret.) was a guest on M.C. Sungaila's The Portia Project Podcast, where Justice Rogers discussed everything from why she decided to go into law to her path to the bench. She also discusses the importance of building a team with diverse experiences and provides appellate advocacy tips.

When asked about her time on the bench Rogers stated, "Always different, and a great learning opportunity. You have to be flexible. I learned as much as I could as fast as I could. Juvenile Court was the best assignment I ever got – truly life or death decisions for kids."

Justice Rogers, chair of the Day Pitney's Appellate Practice group, brings her vast knowledge and experience as a litigator, trial judge and Chief Justice to assist litigation clients in multiple areas of law. Clients benefit from her 20 years of experience presiding over bench and jury trials, and hearing, mediating and ruling on complex commercial disputes.

The podcast chronicles the storied careers of women judges and lawyers.
