New Managing Partner, Executives at Day Pitney

Day Pitney leadership changes were featured in the Connecticut Law Tribune article, "New Managing Partner, Executives at Day Pitney."

Day Pitney Executive Committee member and Trusts and Estates Partner Gregory A. Hayes was named Managing Partner of Day Pitney, succeeding Thomas D. Goldberg, who will continue at the firm as a litigation partner.

Additionally, Michael P. Byrne, partner and previous chair of Real Estate and Environmental practice, was elected to the Executive Committee to serve along with current members Hayes and David Doyle. Namita Tripathi Shah, chair of the firm's Municipal Practice and head of the Private Equity and Finance business unit, was elected to firm's Executive Board.

Hayes stated, "I am humbled and flattered by the confidence my partners have placed in me and the rest of our firm's leadership. As managing partner, I am committed to the continued success of our talented attorneys and staff and our focus on the unparalleled service our clients have come to expect."

Added Goldberg, "I've worked closely with Greg over the last five years, and he has been integral to the firm's success. I've seen up close his commitment to the core values of our firm and his steady and considerate management style. He is perfectly suited to serve as managing partner, and we are lucky to have him lead us."
