Overview

Demery Ormrod advises and represents insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries in insurance and reinsurance disputes. She also represents clients in other complex litigation matters. Demery is experienced in working on complex insurance settlements and representing clients in various aspects of insurance and reinsurance coverage matters.

Prior to joining Day Pitney, Demery served as a law clerk to the Honorable Andrew J. McDonald, Senior Associate Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court. Demery has also worked as a legal intern for a Connecticut-based insurance company in its Claim Legal Department, where she had extensive involvement in mass torts, worker's compensation and other insurance claims.
