Day Pitney Welcomes Fifteen First-Year Associates
January 25, 2021 (New York) – Day Pitney LLP announced that fifteen new associates have joined the firm. Boston
Lauren Hamill, Litigation. Hamill was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. She received her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law, with honors, and her B.A. from Boston University.
Michael Karpman, Litigation. Karpman most recently served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Michael Shea of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. He received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
Moriah Preston, Trusts and Estates and Individual Clients. Preston was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. She was previously a Judicial Intern with the Honorable Mary Thomas Sullivan of the Massachusetts Appeal Court. She received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from University of Maine.
Hartford
Emily Byrnes, Corporate and Business Law. Byrnes was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. She received her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from University of Texas at Austin.
Nathaniel Nichols-Fleming, Litigation. Nichols-Fleming was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017 and 2018. He was previously a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and a judicial clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Devlin of the Connecticut Appellate Court. He received his J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law and his B.A. from Vassar College.
Lindsey Viscomi, Litigation. Viscomi was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. She received her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from Bentley University.

Leanne Roca, Litigation. Roca was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. She received her J.D, cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law and her B.A. from Florida State University.

Wael Amer, Litigation. Amer was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019, and previously served as a Financial Planner for Ernst and Young. He received his J.D., from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. from The College of New Jersey.
Trevor Korb, Corporate and Business Law. Korb was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. He received his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and his B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
Joty Mondal, Corporate and Business Law. Mondal was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. She received her J.D. from University of Notre Dame Law School and her B.S., from Cornell University.

Levin was most recently an entrepreneurial law clinic intern, and previously a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Vera Scanlon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from Brandeis University.

Oliver Ayer, Trusts and Estates and Individual Clients. Ayer was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2019. He received his J.D. from University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was part of the Order of St. Thomas More, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Villanova University.
Anna Rothfus Merin, Trusts and Estates and Individual Clients. Merin was previously a mergers & acquisitions tax intern for KPMG. She received her J.D. with a Tax Law concentration from Quinnipiac School of Law and her B.S., magna cum laude, from Ithaca College.
Washington, DC
Margaret Czepiel, Corporate and Business Law, Energy. Czepiel was an extern with Day Pitney in 2019, and previously served as a law clerk at the Department of Commerce and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). She received her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington State University Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Gettysburg College.
